The new interactive eZdash dashboard technology is an engaging way to view the latest energy savings information with a personal touch. Specifically designed for use with a touch-screen PC, eZdash allows the user to not only view energy facts & figures, but actually interact with the display.
With the simple swipe of a finger, users rotate the eZdash Information Carousel & view high- resolution videos or images displaying the latest energy usage details about that specific building.
Intended for display in public areas, & perfect for the non-energy user, eZdash displays all-purpose information to draw users to the screen. This includes time, weather, & feeds from both news web sites and Twitter.
eSight Suite – Intuitive Data
eZdash has been designed to ‘talk’ to your existing eSight suite to pull down real energy savings information. eZdash then converts this saving data into user friendly, interesting facts, such as converting kWh saved to ‘cars off the road’. eZdash allows users to create any conversion factors they require – which may be suited to their specific industry sector or audience.
Configuring eZdash
Configuration of eZdash is simple, and is managed through the eSight web interface. Users can select the display configuration of their choice and assign this to one or multiple dashboards company wide, at the click of a button.
eZdash automatically downloads images and displays the local cached version to reduce bandwidth and increase refresh speed. Videos are also configured individually through eSight, guaranteeing they run smoothly without using download bandwidth. All other data displayed on the screen is sent to and from the dashboard via XML messages directly to your eSight installation.
The eZdash solution is able to be fully rebranded as well, including banners, logos, and color schemes.
Installation Options
eZdash has been specifically designed to run on an all-in-one PC display. This allows high definition images and video to be displayed to the public in an interactive and intuitive way.
It is also possible to run eZdash on any suitable hardware display the user has on site. The requirements are a Windows XP or later operating system and an Internet connection on the PC.
