eSight Express
Overview
eSight provides two main levels of user access; advanced and express. As a general rule, advanced users are provided with access to the complete functionality within the eSight modules they have purchased. Express users have access to a more simplified set of functionality within eSight, which has been simplified still further.
As a result, eSight Express provides complete novice users with the ability to access their energy data with little or no training. The scaled down functionality also serves to ensure that Express users are not presented with a realm of information which may not be relevant to them; basically, the suite is intended to be kept as simple as possible.
Functionality
eSight Express provides simplified access to a selection of the most commonly used functionality within eSight, presented through an extremely user friendly set of screens. Each screen provides simple step by step instructions on accessing energy data, with interactive help at each step should the user require assistance.
Express users are able to create and run custom reports on one or more meters and to view their data in terms of cost contracts which will have been previously maintained by an Advanced user. In addition Express users are able to run report templates, manage alarms for meters in their own areas and run reports which have again been allocated to them by an Advanced user.
Advanced users are able to create reports and alarms for example, and allocate these to the Express users on an individual user basis. This provides the Express user with the ability to view and run data which is of specific interest, without having to have the ability to configure cost contracts and report data themselves. Thus the system is extremely accessible, without the need for training.
The Express suite also enables users to enter manual meter readings directly into eSight which significantly reduces time spent manually correcting spreadsheets.
For global organisations eSight Express is available as a multi-lingual, multi-currency suite. This may be controlled on a user by user basis, ensuring complete flexibility across your organisation according to each user’s individual requirements.
