eSight Windows® Gadget
Overview
The eSight Windows® Gadget allows the eSight user to view important information and meter data on the Windows® desktop, allowing quick views and one-click access to relevant areas of eSight. The gadget automatically updates every minute to ensure the user sees the latest eSight information.
eSight Data on Windows® Desktop
Meter Data
The eSight Gadget allows the user to specify up to five meter points to monitor on the desktop as either a gauge or a value. The gadget also has the option to pick the most recent data value or totals for present day, the previous day, or the last seven days.
The gauge gives an immediate visual representation on performance in comparison to the previous four readings of the same period.
Alarms
The Alarms bar will turn red should there be any new, unacknowledged alarms that meet the selected severity setting. This highlights the need to view the alarms in the fly-out window.
The alarm window gives the user the ability to adjust the severity level and to ‘jump-to’ the alarm list or alarm details in eSight in order to action the alarm, and also bypasses login.
Data Imports
The Imports bar displays the number of imports applicable to the user for the past three days. The fly-out window provides information on the one hundred most recent imports and allows the user to ‘jump-to’ the imports list in eSight.
Templates
The gadget enables the eSight user to open any saved Energy Analysis Template straight through an Internet browser. The user is able to get direct access to pre-configured templates with a single click.
Quickly Connect to eSight
Links at the bottom of the gadget give the ability to quickly login to eSight or jump straight to the Facilities Dashboard directly from the desktop.
Configuration
Easy to download straight from eSight, the gadget installs directly on the Windows® desktop. Configuration is extremely intuitive; the gadget is auto-configured with the correct URL, the user simply enters their username and password, and selects the information to view from alarms, data imports, analysis templates, and specific meters.
Branding
The eSight Gadget can be fully branded; the top logo, background and footer image are all customizable with the correct level of branding.
