Training Courses
There are a number of training courses available which assist in the administration and use of eSight. Please contact your account manager for the costs of these courses. The courses available are detailed below:
eSight Overview - 1 Day
This course provides an overview of both administration and energy management aspects of eSight. There are elements of both the eSight Administration and eSight Energy Management courses included.
This course includes the administration of eSight and the following modules only; Energy Analysis, Financial Analysis, Data Exchange, Reporting, Calculated Meters and Exception Reporting.
eSight Administration - 1 Day
The eSight Administration course provides essential system configuration knowledge to anyone administering eSight. This gives a thorough understanding of the configuration of eSight which includes configuring sites and meters, users and data import channels.
In addition, the course aims to give the delegate the tools to diagnose problems by understanding the event and audit logs.
eSight Energy Management - 1 Day
The eSight Energy Management course is aimed at Energy Managers or other regular users of eSight. The course will help attendees understand how to analyse energy consumption and fully understand the power of eSight, enabling them to monitor and target energy consumption.
The course will enable the attendee to produce energy charts and reports. These will include charts such as energy consumption charts, base load analysis, league table analysis or performance related reports such as specific energy consumption, regression analysis, deviation analysis and CUSUM charts. The course will explain how to schedule these reports for regular production or distribution by email.
The course also covers the creation of financial contracts and their use with the analysis charts, invoice management and bid management facilities. In addition, the creation of alarms will also be covered by the course together with the emissions trading facilities.
It is highly recommended that anyone using eSight for the management of energy and utilities attends the eSight Energy Management course, enabling them to get the most from eSight.
This course includes the Energy Analysis, Financial Analysis, Reporting, Calculated Meters and Exception Reporting modules. It can optionally include Invoice Validation, Contract Bid Management and Emissions Trading.
eSight Express - Half Day
The eSight Express course is aimed at users who only access eSight Express. It provides a comprehensive look at the facilities provided by the eSight Express user interface.
eSight Report Designer - 1 Day
If you have purchased the eSight Report Designer, it is compulsory that you attend the eSight Report Designer course. The eSight Report Designer is a comprehensive product and will require the expert knowledge obtained through the course to gain the most from the product.
On completion of the eSight Report Designer course, you will be able to create your own reports and upload them to eSight for later use.
