Overview
Smart metering and smart logging systems provide the ability to log and transmit half hourly consumption data automatically to a central data collection system. Please refer to eSight Energy’s metering section for further details on the in-house options we are able to provide.
For existing systems provided by other manufacturers, data is collected to a central data collection system or streamed to the appointed data collector. This in turn may be forwarded to eSight across the internet using a number of methods for data collection such as FTP, eTransfer and email for example.
eSight provides an extensive range of data drivers for most of the known manufacturers of metering and data logging hardware as standard. We also provide the ability to develop new drivers as required, thus ensuring complete integration of your energy data with ease.
