Overview

eSight Energy offers a range of smart metering and data logging hardware solutions. Dependent upon the size and structure of your organisation, certain solutions may be more suitable.

Our range of Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) hardware is divided into the following categories:

Elec Meter

Smart Metering

eSight Energy supplies a range of Iskraemeco smart metering products. Using the latest metering and logging technology with integrated GSM / SMS modem, we provide a range of metering and logging solutions for electricity, gas and water.

Electricity smart metering is available in both 3 Phase Direct connect or CT versions. Each meter is able to log data at up to 15 minute intervals and contains the ability to store many days of high frequency data.

Data is transmitted directly from the smart metering unit via the GSM network. Data is forwarded automatically to your eSight database; this process is provided as a managed service, designed to deliver your data to you in a seamless model without manual intervention required from the client. Energy data is then accessible within your eSight application online or across your corporate network.

Water Logger

Smart Data Logging

The Iskraemeco smart data logging products we supply are suitable for logging electricity, gas and water data. Each smart logger has 4 metering channels and has the ability to log up to 15 minute interval data. This is transmitted, normally on a daily basis, via the GSM network.

Each logger is battery powered and is also able to log temperature readings with a battery life of in excess of 5 years.

eSight Energy also offers an option for water logging which is available as a 2 channel data logger supplied within an IP68 enclosure suitable for pit mounting. The unit also contains an inbuilt high performance antenna.

Wired Solutions

Multilog

The Enercom Multilog and G2 data logging options provide alternative methods of capturing and transmitting metering data on a scheduled basis. Available as either 2 or 8 channel logging units, the Enercom solution provides the ability to collect metering data via a number of wired methods. The units are suitable for collection of data from meters with any pulse output such as electricity, gas, water, steam, heat etc.

Data is collected from the loggers, usually on a daily basis, via the LAN, RS485, Dialup or via Powerline Communications (PLC), which utilises the existing mains power infrastructure.

By providing a range of options, the Enercom solution ensures the ability to utilise the existing infrastructure where available on site. This solution is also ideal where a large concentration of metering points exist in one location or where no mobile transmission network is available.

Optical Meter Reader

Optical Meter Readers

The Xemtec Optical Meter Reader is a very cost effective way of updating older meters without having to replace and interrupt any existing infrastructure.

Designed for meter models with mechanical displays, this tool simply clips on to convert any type of meter, electricity, gas or water, into a smart metering device offering a variety of system interfaces (e.g. pulse, GSM/GPRS, M-Bus).

The reader is ATEX certified intrinsically safe equipment for use in Zone 0 areas and therefore requires no 'chatterbox' isolation unit when connected to a Gas meter.
