Overview
Dependent upon the model of your organization, energy data can be stored in different systems or even on different sites. Transfer of data may already be occurring via a number of different methods which may be either manually or automatically triggered.
eSight Energy offers a number of ways to easily gather this data into a single central eSight database.
We offer the ability for data to be emailed to eSight. In this case, eSight Energy’s Email Plugin receives emails sent to a pre-designated email inbox and automatically strips the consumption data from the email. This data is then automatically imported to eSight for analysis.
Our iDC product provides the ability to transfer data which has been exported from remote systems such as BMS, BAS, SCADA or production systems and a range of other database types such as Access, Oracle, DB2 etc. iDC is able to gather data exported from your BMS / BAS system and transfer it securely across the internet to eSight on a scheduled basis. iDC offers data transfer across your corporate network, the internet and dialup connection.
eSight also provides the ability for data to be received into a number of locations and formats as standard. For any “new” format types, data drivers can easily be developed to your specific requirements.
This ensures that no matter where or how your data is stored, it can be imported into eSight with ease.
