Energy Certificates
Overview
The eSight Display Energy Certificates (DEC) module enables users to create energy certificates for display in public buildings. eSight enables users to rationalise energy consumption against a range of information used in benchmarking, so that the operational rating of a building can be calculated.
The DEC module is currently available for purchase and is already being used successfully to provide immediate guidelines on building performance.
In order to meet the legislative requirements which are due for enforcement October 2008, we will maintain the DEC module in line with information supplied by the appropriate governing bodies.
It is also worth noting that we intend for the module to be fully accredited as soon as the accreditation process has been finalised.
