Functionality

 

eSight Essential provides the key functionality from eSight which has been selected in line with the most frequent requirements of energy and facilities managers. Presented in an extremely user friendly interface, eSight Essential is simple to purchase, install and configure.

Online Purchase

Available for purchase online, eSight Essential can be downloaded directly to your PC or server. The system comparison page provides users with an understanding of the different versions of eSight Essential 25, 50 and 75. System Setup

Configuration and setup of data has never been simpler. With the configuration menu, users are able to setup eSight Essential quickly and easily. From initial purchase to having eSight Essential up and running, this process is extremely fast.

Energy Reporting

The Energy Analysis menu provides users with the ability to run reports that focus on key areas of their usage. This includes reporting on activity from main meters, activity from electrical usage and out-of-hours usage. In addition, users can setup reports to view energy against degree day or production data for performance efficiency reporting.

Report Library

The eSight Reporting library includes an extensive array of pre-written report templates. These provide a style of reporting suitable for management on different aspects of energy usage.

Financial Reporting

The Financial tools within eSight Essential enable the input of financial information required to convert energy usage into monetary values. Users can input utility rate information to convert kWh to financial data through single, 2-rate or banded utility contracts. Different tax rates can be incorporated. In addition, users can also create consumption or financial budgets.

Alarms

eSight Essential provides the ability to set alarms through the Quickset alarms menu option. This enables alarms to be set for each site in bulk, quickly and easily. Alarms that can be set include missing data and average usage. All alarms are displayed within eSight Essential when they are triggered.

Data Integration

Energy data may be integrated with eSight Essential from a wide range of formats and sources, with ease. Please see Connectivity for further details.
